They may increase their perceived value with the company, but that doesn’t increase profits. By rewarding real value and discouraging perceived value, a business can focus on providing higher quality for customers and a better work environment for employees…not to mention more profit for itself.

Business strategist and author, Larry Myler appeared on air on January 28, 2010, (just prior to Mel Gibson), as a guest on Denver’s Fox 31 television station to discuss his new book, Indispensable by Monday. Co-anchor Mike Headrick, winner of 7 Emmy awards and an Edward R. Murrow award, interviews Larry on KDVR‘s popular Good Day Colorado morning show.
Mike Headrick, “As I was reading through it [Indispensable by Monday], I thought, you know what? If people are looking for a quick pill on how to do it, this isn’t necessarily it. I mean you’ve got to work at it; there is work involved.”
Larry Myler, “There is work involved, but there are some things that can actually be done by Monday. There are some things that can be a life long goal… but Monday is the starting point.”
